How does LED Phototherapy work?

Light does many wonderful things to our bodies. It helps us to produce essential Vitamin D, makes us feel good and makes our skin flourish!

Phototherapy occurs naturally all around us and is based on the principle that our cells absorb light and use it promote natural rejuvenation and repair processes. Different wavelengths of light stimulate specific effects in the skin. Too much exposure to UV light (e.g. the sun) damages the skin, but controlled levels of Red, Blue and Near Infrared light are clinically shown to give us many benefits.

LED Phototherapy is a favourite of many celebrity skincare regimens. Treatments involve these beneficial wavelengths being delivered straight into the skin’s deepest layers, courtesy of a special device, which energise the cells and rejuvenate the skin. It’s a natural response similar to that of plant photosynthesis, using a process known as “photobiomodulation”. Energised skin cells function better and can regenerate up to 200% faster. This helps you

achieve healthier, stronger and more radiant skin and yu feel relaxed and uplifted after each session.
